Greetings from Berlin to Switzerland! :-)

Maybe a bit late, but just a short note on messiah/max:
When using PointOvenPro instead of the mostly broken messiah plugins, you should have a lot more fun.
(I haven't touched the messiah native plugins for years since they are such a pain)
But messiah is still the fastest tool for character setups without weightpainting and it's OpenGL isn't bad either.

We seem to do some similar stuff (and prefer the same colors ;-) ) so if you are stuck, feel free to mail me privately.

Cheers and welcome,

Thomas Helzle

while i tested messiah, but messiah and 3DS where not very symbiotic
together and crashed all time (thats why i bought XSI).
