It may be a limitation of v6.0. They expanded the scripting toolset in 6.5 so addSolid() may not be in 6.0. May I suggest upgrading?? :-)

I'm using 6.0. Line 162 looks like this. var solid = myComp.layers.addSolid(new Array(0.7,0.7,0.7),'solid',100,100,1);

Are you on 6.0 or 6.5? It may not work with 6.0, I haven't tested it there. Is line 162 the line where is precomposes the solid?

I did have a composition selected. I looked at the output xml file from XSI; it looks fine. It has all the data from the camera: frame,pos,fov, interest. Really weird. I guess there's a problem with the xml script in AE. I've tested it with
cameratest.xml example file coming with the scripts; it still gives me a "line 162" error.

3.0 and probably AE 5.0. Was anybody successful making it works with AE 6.0 and XSI 5.X ? If not, any other script/plug-in/tricks available? > > > > Thanks > > > > > > Hans
