I am making a zombie film.

Chromakey is already up and working.

I wanted to include some facial morphs but first I have a question.

Is XSI the correct tool of cinema (Independent)

As a person with no skills in animation its still unclear if XSI is a motion graphics tool.

Its not just for fancy photoshop images correct?

People use it for motion graphics animation all the time?

I looked at the softimage web site but its still unclear.

Where could I find a web site with detailed info how they get data from Avid xpress into XSI.
Or do you import AVI files or jpg.

So I am not sure if XSI is the correct tool.

I did like the old video at softimage for Sin City.

hmm...

I am still confused what people are using XSI for.
I don't go to a university and don't study this kind of thing so also..

Should I even bother with XSI?
Or will it be so difficult that with out a college degree I would I be lost.

Can you use this with just books and tutorial files?

Thanks,

Hope this question is ok to post as I wish to get a better idea of what people are using XSI for.

Does their exist a user web site with links to your work so I can check out some ideas?

Cheers..
