Hmmm interesting I'm doing some tests here running Itunes and XSI, seems that when I'm running Itunes while modeling my XSI just crashes, I'm talking at least every 2 to 3 minutes!!!!!
So far with only XSI running I've been up for 10 mins :) I'm using NVIDIA 8.X drivers here

77.56 here, runs a treat.
8X.XX+ just lockups the machine if I try and load a video in mediaplayer / quicktime etc over the top of XSI.

wrong driver + Nvidia card = Crashing all the time, even on a fresh empty scene....
I learned to use 71.xx drivers for non-certified Nvidia cards...
I usually get around twice a week... (crashes that is :) ) but sometimes it could be two weeks with no crash...
