I seem to recall an update to latest QT/Itunes version helped. Try search the archives. I had my problem fixed here and I think that was it.

Hmmm interesting
I'm doing some tests here running Itunes and XSI, seems that when I'm
running Itunes while modeling my XSI just crashes, I'm talking at least
every 2 to 3 minutes!!!!!

So far with only XSI running I've been up for 10 mins :)
I'm using NVIDIA 8.X drivers here

77.56 here, runs a treat.

8X.XX+ just lockups the machine if I try and load a video in mediaplayer
/
quicktime etc over the top of XSI.

wrong driver + Nvidia card = Crashing all the time, even on a fresh
empty
scene....

I learned to use 71.xx drivers for non-certified Nvidia cards...

I usually get around twice a week... (crashes that is :) )
but sometimes it could be two weeks with no crash...
