I have a 5.0 licence running so your right the server is running. And
to recap 4.2 will run from 5.0 *BUT* 5.0 doesn't run from a 5.0
licence.

I don't have (2) versions of XSI running simutaniously. I checked all
the task manager and all loopholes in windows for another xsi program
activity.

Running "echo SPM_HOST" (without the quotes) at both 5.0 and 4.2 command prompt just gives me
the following

SPM

that's it.

I double-triple checked it's clear.
