mapping angle discontinuity?

Subject : mapping angle discontinuity?

Anyone knows if there's a way to use a map to drive the Angle Discontinuity
from the Polygon Mesh in the Geometry Approximation? I'd like to have
certain areas where the angles seems more sharp and others where they seem
more smooth without having to increase the geometry. Anyone has any
suggestions on how to pull that off?
