We'd like to use the TAFA facial animaton system with XSI.  We've used it with lightwave for many years and would now like to incorporate it into our new XSI workflow.  The author Mac Reiter is working on full XSI support, but until then, has met with success exporting obj's of all morph targets out of XSI to TAFA and importing the MDD data generated by TAFA to control animation within XSI.

Our question:  Is there a plugin or script that will allow us to export all shapes for a given character as separate obj files?

For example..   if we have an object called someface, and we model "smile", "sad", and "grin" shapes for it under a "mouth" tab, we need a way of exporting :

someface.base.obj
someface.mouth.smile.obj
someface.mouth.sad.obj
someface.mouth.grin.obj

I'm sure something like this could be done in scripting, but I wouldnt know where to start.

Thanks in advance.
