Uh, ah,

some helpful soul made me aware "suck it up"
is often used by military types, to boost (grunt)
motivation. Something you repeat infront of a
mirror until you feel fit to pay back some(>TaxiDriver).

I didn´t know this. Served my year in the (D) Airforce.
Manners are still different there (don´t ask about those
damn white silk scarfs). But at least we got the girls...:)
