Hey everyone,

If you guys haven't heard about Mudbox then check these links out...

http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=353952
http://www.mudbox3d.com/

anyways this seems to be a really interesting piece of software. Zbrush made a big boom into the industry when version 2 came out, after everyone saw what weta (and many others) did with this software everyone jumped on the bandwagon. well now that its known that zbrush isn't really used at weta anymore, people are going to jump on this software and we all know the majority of those users are going to be from Maya and Max userbases. SO lets get some XSI houses on the beta so we can make sure when its released there isn't a thread every other week about how "how can i get mudbox to work with XSI" or "why is it so hard to get my mudbox to work in XSI"...

also a word to the Softimage team... With the release of 5.1 the increase of file formats and interoperability between softwares, this would be a software to be sure to support or vice versa. The Mudbox official demonstration is going to be in Montreal, maybe someone could stop by.

Later!
