OK Guys - FYI - we have downgraded our Graphics Drivers from 8.xxx to
7.8xxx now and it has improved the stability a HUGE amount - completely

Since I have seen this handle-hog too, I downloaded Process Explorer
from Systernals to learn more:
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html
It shows that this one huge svchost process is the mother of a lot of
central windows services - networking etc.
This is also a great tool btw. if you want to have a closer and more
detailed look on the performance of single processes. Doubleclicking on
a entry reveals a lot of information.
I can also recommend their Autoruns Tool:
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Autoruns.html
to deactivate some of the stupid stuff software thinks people need
nowadays...
!But only use it if you know what you do!
