RE: Bind the hair brush to a key

It is the "Proportional Transform Tool" in the keyboard mapping dialog. (under the XSI group)

 

To activate it from scripting you can use the "PropTransformTool" command.

I must be looking in the wrong place, is there a way to bind the Brush ?tool? in the hair panel to a key?

There is no command echoed when I activate the brush and when I use it it?s a translate hair operation that is issued.

I understand that it is a ?proportional modeling brush? but how can we activate it with a single key rather than sliding my mouse on the UI?
