Subject : pickwalk
Hi,

is there anything available that would let me customize a pickwalk
throught a hirarchie of a character?
imagine the hips are selected:

cursor up -> spine 1 selected
cursor up -> spine 2 selected
-----
cursor up -> neck selected
cursor up -> head selected
-----
instead of cursor up when the spine 2 was selected
cursor right -> left shoulder selected
cursor right -> left upper arm selected
cursor left -> left shoulder selected
cursor left  -> neck selected
cursor left -> right shoulder selected

and so forth. i hope the idea is somewhat clear illustrated. when i
think about it i would need a property on each chain element telling
me what to select next when i press one of the cursor keys? but how
can that be done? custom operators or something like this?
i would appreciate some hints, that can lead me into the right
direction. i am posible in shape to figure the execution out myself
then. its just that i have currently no real idea how to start this
thing....

thanks a lot

franky
