Hi Greg,

The v4 plugins aren't working well on 5.1 on linux - I believe Nextlimit have recompiled them for windows 5.1, but not linux yet.

It would be great if Soft could give Nextlimit a hand to get this sorted as we also urgently need reliable realflow on linux here.

Cheers,

Alan.

Okay, I am sitting in a pool of frustration, I've been doing some
testing in getting data from xsi to realflow and back again. I was a
little discouraged when I saw there was only a .xsiaddon for v4.0 of XSI
for realflow 3, However I went ahead and installed the addon to XSI 5.1
and everything seemed to have worked fine. I was able to take mesh data
from XSI export as .sd and bring it into Realflow. That was Yesterday,
Today no matter what I try, when I try to run the .sd export, xsi
immediate shuts out and I Segmentation Fault error in my shell (running
linux FC3). So <insert colorful metaphor here> !!!

so I was told this isn't a first time this has happened. So if anyone
knows whats may be causing this issue, any resolve or input that could
get me exporting again would be truly appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg
