Can't get it to work.... I set up a work group (not really necessary for
me). I created a new user xsi_render with a password (XP requires that)
and stared the process on my laptop (slave). Looks fine. Now I entered
the name (I also tried the address) of the laptop in the .ray3hosts
file. I checked the environment with the user tool and all looks good.
Now when I start XSI it just hangs after the initial screen and before
the gui window. I have no fire walls. I have to raythingy running on my
master. Only XSI. I tried before to also run the raythingy on the master
but that yields crashes so I think the raythingy is only a client and
not necessary on the master.
The tut on the website is outdated. OS and XSI react differently. I
guess I'll make a new one once I have this swinging.
