That is a solution to take out the "lines" that go to the handles but
the handles themselves are still there!!! :(
Well it doesn't work on my side anyway.

First choose Display > Visibility Options (All Cameras). On the
Components tab, turn off the Bezier Handles While Drawing Points/Knots
options.
Now use Model > Modify > Component > Move Point Tool instead of Tweak
Curve (m).

Please tell me someone knows how to get splines back to the old way
where i only have to see and manipluate ONE point at a time to move the
spline around instead of trying to get my mouse over the right one point
out of 4 when i am trying to alter it..
it is so frustrating when you are zoomed wide on a big motion path and
you are just trying move some points.. but its next to a tightly curving
area.. so.. well.. you get the idea..
tell me it was discussed and there are options and i just missed that
talk.
