Subject : [4.2] How to delete unused material that crashes XSI
Hello,

Anyone had that problem? I had a model that was carrying a bunch of
unused materials with it. I found out that trying to remove one of
these materials, either through pressing Delete on my keyboard, using
the scripted command, or through Remove Unsed Materials on libraries,
would crash XSI right away.

I got rid of those material at the model level by creating a new
model, putting the geometry under it, created a new library, moved the
used materials into it, and exported.

However, there are scenes where this model is local, and this is now
impossible to get rid of that material without crashing the scene. In
short, the shot has to be redone by the animator.

Anyone has tips for this (the material problem that is, not the
animation retake)?
