I get the same result with root user.
This is a blade, so there is no display. I connect remotely through an X server.

Check if it runs as root (just to help track it down - if it does then
it may be trying to access your video card without any permissions -
though that seems out of place for xsibatch). Also make sure if you're
using fam rather than gamin that you've got the famd daemon running.

If all this fails install strace and save the output to file and start
looking through there for where it crashed and what it tried to do
beforehand.
