We scan and model more cars than everyone else in the industry
combined...GTN was one of our clients. Dave Owen at GTN is a former
Meshwerks employee and was trained by me. They use the old method of
taping and CMM point probing which samples (on an average car) around
5000 to 10,000 points. This procedure takes about two days to complete.
All of our vehicle models are scanned with laser and/or white light
scanning at 10,000,000 to 20,000,000 points and takes about 3-4 hours.
Then we subD model using the scan as a reference.

We've worked with them in the past and have always been impressed. They
are equipped to 3D scan vehicles in record time as well as clean the
scans up and provide workable models.
They do loads of this kind of stuff.
