You'll need to use a fast volume effects volume shader on the pass and
a fast light shader instead of the soft light shader on your light.
Hope this helps.

Alan.

Hi guys,
I´m still not fully aware of all the limitations or general
procedures required to make effects work in XSI (5.1).
What I try to do is to map the intensity and color
of a spotlight (points as well) with an image, basically
projecting a custom pattern onto a floor while I´d also
wan to use that image to drive the volumic effect.
Unfortunatly, using sib_slide_proj_light will disable
the volumic effect. Same happens when I try
Fast_light_effects with a texture, the volumic
simply stops working...
Known limitation?
I´d have expected this to work?
Allready made sure I don´t have fallof activated or
something like that. Btw, Even if the fallof on a light
is unchecked, a low maximumvalue will *cut* it off?
