If you have openquicktime installed, Flipbook will load,play and Export to Quicktime. There is a thread on the base with some info regarding Linux in General as with XSI.

Not sure if its how we are setup here, but the only thing we can get to work in Flipbook are image sequences. Any type of video format seems to not work, I get "No file parser to read this image type".
