A little while back Andy Jones from this list posted this link:

It seems you can grab anything that's using OGL, so in theory you could
grab google-earth south manhattan, save it as an .obj and bring it into
XSI.
Personally I've installed the necessary software but hardly had the
chance to test it - work keeps getting in the way ;-)
It would be pretty cool if it worked.
Andy, have you had the chance to test it?
