Last time I played with that, I found that objects always have the
"closest" model name as the  prefix. So if an object is under model
"ModelB" and "ModelB" is under "ModelA", then object's fullname is
"ModelB.objectname".
Also, when dealing with saving actions and the likes accross nested
models, I once or twice noticed that the "lowest" Mixer (the one of
ModelB for example) would "copy" itself onto all parents that are
models. Messy. Not sure if this is still the case in XSI 5.11 though.

the nestings. That could be causing all sorts of problems, including
possible the action saving thing. That seems like a rather obvious and
unpleasant oversight to me.
