Searching from http://www.softimage.com/community/xsi_net/default.aspx works.  This is the link from softimage.com, works from firefox, but also within netview but obviously it'll lose the interactivity when clicking 'run' etc.  But at least you won't have to browse through thousands of entries.

I just tried to search for xphysics, solidify and it returned only the correct item.  Doing it from the default xsi net directory in netview returns everything.
