Hi guys,
is it desired behaviour that a material saved as preset into
the ...user\Softimage\XSI_5.1\Data\DSPresets\Properties
folder will refuse to be connected to another material, e.g.
you select an object, load the preset it into the rendertree,
now having the object´s current material plus the preset and
try to connect the preset´s shader (a Strauss) to the material´s
Surface/Shadow/... replacing the previously assigned (a Phong)?
If I copy the nodes from the preset and paste them back into
the rendertree, connecting and replacing to Surface/Shadow/...
suddenly works?
