Admittedly, 90% of the stills to be seen uses either a *.hdr file or
a skydome, maybe some arealights, there aren´t too many examples
of flicker free highquality results posted anywhere yet.

Which is what I´d want, a reliable 97% of the quality vray or maxwell
deliver (easily) in a still for moving images, e.g. sequences, with all
bells and whistles. Blurred Multireflections, optical fx, volumetric fx,
fluids, clouds, clayish surfaces with perfectly managed uv´s.

I´ll set aside the money for Siggraph 2010 now, could be there´s
some papers for this level of integration until then...
