Be careful, it's not free for commercial use. That unfortunately applies to most pieces of "freeware".

For every thing else besides pic try out Thumbview Light
http://www.download.com/ThumbView-Lite/3000-2347_4-10462116.html?tag=lst-0-3

. Install this then the pic viewer from greggman and you should now be able
to view almost any image format (no hdr).

loong time.

Cool.

Funny thing about those two Greggman thumbnail programs is that they seem to
quit working after a while. I have to reinstall them often to make them work
I think Microsoft or Quicktime (or some other program) keeps trying to take
control of those formats and wins every time.

I just reloaded the PIC thumbnail program and Adobe Bridge does utilize it!
(except with an odd white border).

Thanks for the pointer.

I don't have Bridge. But I've read that it supports Windows Explorer shell
extensions for file formats.

So download the .pic shell extension from there :

http://greggman.com/pages/thumbplug_tga.htm

btw this will also you to see thumbnails for .pic in Explorer, of course..

Hello folks.

It's been a while since the Photoshop "soft.8bi" was written but my group
uses it heavily each day despite its age.

Since "bridge" was thrust upon us every time we load an adobe product. I'd
hoped that we could drag the old plugin into the Adobe Bridge Plug-ins
folder also and get thumbnails too. No such luck. :<

Is there anyone out there that might consider the requirements of Bridge in
doing an update for the plugin?

Just though I'd ask. Adobe doesn't seem too interested in doing anything
beyond their AFX importer.

Thanks,

-Todd
