No need to shout, I know about the metaball plugin,
that was the first thing I said remember?
I appreciate the advice, but you all missed the point.
I was looking for a shader for a reason. It's not a
question of wanting to use metaballs or not. Try
freelancing and going from place to place and all the
machines are set up differently, having to install the
same things over and over again. It's a real pain in
the ass, and basically I don't always have the
sys-admin at my beck and call at a moments notice, and
I don't always have permissions to make changes.
So I though that perhaps there were some native
functions or shaders that I could utilize to get the
effect I need, without having to install a bunch of
stuff.
