And then you can distribute the mesh creation process, which often takes as much time as the simulation process, if not more.

As Realflow is realslow, you can optimize your workflow a bit, if you have some simulation machines on the farm.
Just create 3 or more scenes with different settings you need to try and send them on the farm.
Work on other stuff on your machine and check the realflow stuff later.
