Yawwwnnnn... stretch....... just back from Boston....

The nicest thing for me and all the other little guy's and fellow noobs are two enhancements.
First, the ability in the (near?) future to have render preview memo buttons like the ones we have in the viewports already for the camera position. So you can recall previous previews and compare them while flicking around. GREAT! Second, and that really is a dream come true, the ability to enable a preview icon sized picture in the nodes of the rendertree which shows what influence a node has. You can see how the node functions come together and affect each other till the end result is generated from the partial results before. I am sure that I will get much much more out of the rendertree once that feature is available as it will lead to tweaking nirvana! Might sound as not such a big of a deal to the users who use it as second nature, but for a new comer or casual user, that will be a MEGA help.

And yes, the history tour through 'memory' lane was super funny and informative. Good to see the roots of something as it makes the understanding of the current product better. Thanks to the SoftImage3D Demo Guy.

Most importantly: Nice meeting many of you from the list!
Rainer

PS:Thanks for the cool Party and the nice preview. Quite an effort. Here's a pic of the entrance to the Party.

PPS: Interesting what happens when it's still 90Degrees outside, and you run into a couple of stiff Vodca/Tonics... (Comparisons to the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster emerge from Memory...)
