My only gripe with SciTe is that it does not seem to create a temporary backup during save operations which I kinda consider to be a basic editor feature.
It conked out on saving once, so my code was reduced to a zero k file... and they were fairly lengthy code revisions at the time.

I agree that Tkinter is poorly documented and thus quite hard to
