XSI talking to Maya

Subject : XSI talking to Maya
Speaking of which, I need to get a Maya scene and
models into XSI.

Anyone have some advice as to what works best?  FBX? 
dotXSI?  Direction to a link where they can be found
appreciated.  I have to send the plugin to the Maya
artist, so hopefully it's not to hard to install.
