The port you'll need to open in your firewall is 7050. Ideally look
into either specifying IPs which can access it (assuming you have
static, or near enough to static, IPs at home) or setup a port
knocking program

as long as the server with the license on it has an IP thats accessable...

using the hosts file.. add the server IP and name it

then add that machine name to your setenv.bat file

 should work

We would like to try to set up the ability to use XSI from our home
computers. Is there any way to allow the home machine to reach through the
net and grab an XSI token from our License sever here at work? I thought I
heard of someone doing this but I can't find any reference of it in my past
mail. Can someone point me in the direction of a solution?

 Thanks,
