I’m using an Asus W2J with an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600
and pushing a lot of OGL work through it, using it as a render station for
previz that’s being put together on a workstation. Absolutely no
complaints about either performance or reliability here. To give you some idea,
on Friday I set up my older Del XPS2 which I think has the Nvidia 6800 on it
and it couldn’t handle the scenes I’ve been putting through this
Asus, it just died a death, couldn’t even get a frame rendered.
