Well, the obj export to Max still doesn't work. I have imported those .obj in Lightwave and they import nicely, Seems it is a Max related trouble.

What worked was:
From xsi ->Export  obj,
import obj in LW
From LW -> Export FBX
Import in Max

I'm still having strange thing with FBX though. The fbx exported from XSI 5.11 and then reimported in XSI won't open, but opens in LW...
Am I the only one ? I can't spend too much time on this unforunatly...

I have to transfer some meshes (characters) from XSI 5.11 to 3DS max. ( I don't have Max, I just send the file)
I have tried to export in FBX, but it didn't work (There was an error message, but can't remember what)
Anyway, as we only need the mesh, I tried to export in .obj. It worked, but for some reasons the mesh is a litlle corrupted, there are some welded points and some disconnected points.
Also, it seems the scale is quite different, the imported obj is apearing very small in 3DS max.

I was wondering if anyone had some good efficent advices, or some experience on the subject. We're really late on that project and I wouldn't like loosing too much time in some simple transfers...

Thank's a lot.
