Sorry I didn't get back earlier Matt...QuadroGO 1000 on my Alienware laptop is fine ( though try anything more than a capture of a primitive cube and it's likely to overheat and freeze) and Geforce 7900x2 is not fine

So you're obviously running two different cards on the machines Dan? What graphics cards are you running if you don't mind me asking?

Pretty sure it depends on the graphics card...I run the same version of xsi on 2 machines one is fine...one is not, tis a pain in't bottom..
