i have got the group using 3 levels of nestedobjects and for some reason the methods of groups doesn't work.
 
object has no attribute 'AddMember'
 
when i log the object's type i get #Group so i have a group

Btw you might want to check out LightTools, as it deals with all these
things (functions from the Associate button).
