Running XSI as non-admin on Windows

Hi,

Are there studios out there that run XSI on Windows workstations where
users are not administrator? (ie power users)

Right now everyone here is local administrator. Obviously this is less
than ideal, as user has full control of its machine. We'd like to make
them power user, however XSI needs a few extra permissions to operate
properly (like modifying the registry, like for shaders (XSI 4.2), and
the Net View).

So anyone knows what needs to be done to run XSI under a "power user" account?
