As far as I remember that never worked in XSI but in SI3D...

You can use Helges excellent tool Surface Texture Support at Mindthink.de - or, perhaps GATOR it over.

Subject: nurbs to polymesh UV's

I must be missing something here... I'm converting a nurbs patch with a uv texture support to a polymesh and expecting some uv mapping to go with it but the new polymesh has no mapping data at all on it. Actually someone else in the department here was doing it and i didn't believe them when they told me it wasn't working but they're correct.....

freezing the texture support on the nurbs patch makes no difference.

tried it in 4.2 as i thought perhaps it could be a gator thing but that didn't work either.

Anyone else noticed? I know it's not a smart move to touch the nurbs in xsi but still.

Andi.
