Hi Joey,

just want to add that I´m grateful for your script.
It´s too late now, I got distracted and fiddled with
mR rendering once again. The *.scn I posted doesn´t
work with FG, great! Seems there´s some rounding
errors or whatever else mismatching when using
*.hdr files for the environment shader input and
the image for the TextureSpaceGenerator to plug into.

Whatever, at least I got some halfdecent images done...

I´ll look at your script tommorow evening, thanks again!

Cheers

tim

P.S: If I find a solution that easily works with FG - I´ll update.

Tim, I'm not sure what's up with that. Here is a zip file with a .vbs of the same script.

Hi guys,

I can´t run Joey´s script/record in one go
with neither VScript nor JScript, so maybe
it´s exactly what I was looking for?

The alternative I´m currently fiddling with
is based on the "selective shadow pass"
preset, haven´t fully grasped the concept
yet - I´m feeling dizzy when forced to use
partitions and overrides - but guess that´ll
be good enough to slap something together.

After all, I just want the backroundcolor off
the environmentmap on my groundplane plus
the shadow from other objects on it, seamless.
That can´t be that complicated...

P.S: That noise came from the fan´s own wire,
which had come off and hung into the propeller´s
way, srrrrrrrrrrrrrrzszzzzzszzzzzszzzzzzshhhszz....
At least nothing serious or impossible to fix,
just a sluggish setup (I did that myself...).
