Hi Morten,
One option you have for cheating it is to render a pass from the
light's perspective then project that onto the shadow receiving
geometry to render a shadow pass.
Not great, but depending on what your options are...

I thought I rememberd this problem from the first BoolTrace version -
thought you had nailed it since then, since we plug in to shadow ports too.
Alas, I'll cheat it then.
It is soo much cleaner to use than booleans.
