I had the same problem awhile ago. It seems to be a bug. I was in a hurry when I was doing it but I found for some bizarre reason that if i used a scalar instead of a colour look up it seemed to work.

Hope that helps.

Hi there,

I have a trouble with a pretty simple shader. A simple Mixer with a MapLookupColor plugged into the Weight.
To put it clear, 2 colors driven through a Weightmap.
For some reasons, each time I render or render-region, the result is not good, with some squares apearing as if the weightmap was gone or corrupted (But the Weightmap is still there and ok)
To fix it, the workaround I found is to freeze or freeze-modeling the object. But it just fix it temoprary as I' have to freeze again each time I launch a render.

Does any one have gone through this problem ? Is there some serious workaround ?
Thank you.

Olivier
