hum, just a shot in the dark here, I haven't tried it myself and maybe I'm
reading your post wrong but can't you just copy the spdl, regenerate new
GUIDs, change your default values and install this new spdl in a
workgroup... then you apply your new material from the workgroup? If the
GUIDs are new, I think it should use this spdl setting instead and you won't
need to reinstall anything. Like I said, I haven't tried anything like that
so I don't know if it'll do what you want and maybe what you where
explaining in your first post was exactly that but if not, I'd give it a
shot... you have nothing to loose.
