Use the "Radiance" slider under the "Advanced Settings" tab. I believe it is set by default to use all of the incoming irradiance.

It was put there specifically because the base shader, as we get it from mental images, only had an on/off toggle to dial in the amount of irradiance the shader wanted and not the specific amount.

Ok, so then what's the best way to get fast skin to work with
