Well I might just fork out for a MX1000 again, I like the wireless mice I
guess. (anyone got a G7?)

My wife asked me why doesn't Softimage make a mouse?...and I thought
prohibitve hardware/development costs...but then thought of the Mojo etc

So surely in this market for highend workstations, quadrofx graphics and
monster displays,..there would be a place for 'pro' mice and keyboards as
well??

Cheers,

James,

my 2 cents : That cheap beige Microsoft mouse is IMHO the best over its more
expensive siblings. The middle mouse button doesn't have the problem the
other wheel buttons do, like being too high, slippery or hard to push. It's
also suprisingly better at optical tracking on any surface than the newer
mice. In fact, it is so good I am stocking a few extra in case Microsoft
drops the model. (MS often drops hardware, like the Elite Keyboards II, and
takes decisions like dropping the Insert button or changing them around)
There is no need to install drivers to use mice, and they also work
flawlessly on linux or the mac. I avoid installing mouse drivers, or
hardware that require them.
