Kim: All our machines are using the same account name, including the workstations. We also tried to submit the render from another workstation with the same result.
Bernard: They're all XP machines actually.
There's no logic to this one, I can log in with remote desktop on any farm machine and open the scene in XSI and render, but not through Rush, but everything else seems just peachy.

The node registry might be corrupted, in case you're on Linux. Try
uninstalling all the addon, remove the registry file, reinstall the
addons.
