It’s a bit misleading. The nested model appears in red so I assumed it was nested but in fact it’s not, it’s just a plain nested model.  Still doesn’t take new shape clips on a reference model that’s already in a scene. Bum.

Nesting referenced models? Isn't that one of the cardinal sins of xsi? Or have recent versions become more stable?
