I'm gonna take a guess at what you're trying to do, I may be wrong. I'm going to guess that you're trying to paint black and zero alpha on the RGBA image, in order to remove something.

In vector paint, with the paint brush, open the Color Selector in the Tools menu, go to the last tab, the one with sliders, and set R,G,B, and especiallhy A to zero. Then you will then effectivly painting zero alpha, therefore earasing the rendered sequence..

OK this seems to be a very basic question... how do I use the 2D paint tools to erase a rendered sequence, I can use the erase brush to erase a paint stroke that I made but the erase tools have no effect on a rendered sequence with an alpha. I've checked the manuals and there's no mention of it.

any ideas?
