My goal is basically to be able to proivide functions to artists that they can undo in the the steps I provide, or for the most simple requirement of not having to hit undo a thousand times on functions in relaional views or plugins. I know if I register the functions as commands the issue is gone, but registering a small function from an RV seems unessessary.

Hi,

I'm really interested about this topic :)
I guess that is not possible to manage XSI undo bracketing, for sure impossible with current API...
Anyway, what your goal ?

the topic of undo bracketing resurfaced recently.
Is there an alternative to registering commands or is there a way to get undo bracketing now in XSI?
I don't really want to register and unregister commands for an RV
