Actually I had a problem once when I copy & pasted some Python code into the Script Editor. It would throw me some strange error, when I typed it by hand it worked fine.
Bizarre.

The font is, as far as I know, courrier new for the non-comment code. And if I clearly type an "à", it shows up as an "à". I have no idea why in some cases it doesn't show up, it could be a bug of some sort
with SciTe, my keyboard, or whatever.
