You can use a Vector_math_scalar set on "Distance between v1 and v2".
In the first input plug a vector share (your specified object global position).
In the second input plug a vector state node set on "intersection point".

Then plug this Vector_math_scalar in a Change_Range to remap the distance between objects and the specified object to 0-1.

I can send you a preset tonight if needed.
